In the show, Dante runs his devil-hunting business, Devil May Cry, while struggling under constant financial debt. There are also two new regular characters - Dante’s agent Morrison who visits frequently, and Patty Lowell, a young orphan girl he saved in the first episode, who also visits frequently and shares a father-daughter relationship.

On another note…..
There will be no Weekly Shonen Jump this week due to the Golden Week holidays in Japan. As such, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, D.Gray-Man, Eyeshield 21, and other WSJ series will not be coming out until next week.
Many other publications will also be on break due to this holiday and so other weekly favorites such as Fairy Tail and HSD Kenichi are also not coming out this week.
For fans of D.Gray-Man, please note that the author is sick and releases are on hold again. Releases will not return for a while. Hopefully she will get better soon!

So finally we have added yet another 2 anime series, as promised, Death Note was added to our lovely collection and Black Lagoon, was a plus done by Pete.

Some facts regarding about who subbed Death Note are the following:
- Animanda (First FanSub to work with this series… altho they were a bit slow, their quality was “OK”).
- KuroHana (Second FanSub that subbed the Series until they received a C&D Letter).
- Ruberia (Last FanSub which took the latest 2 episodes due to the fact that no other FanSub did the job).
Death Note Plot:
Light Yagami is an extremely intelligent young man who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the “Death Note”, lying on the ground. The Death Note’s instructions claim that if a human’s name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the notebook’s authenticity, but after experimenting with it, Light realizes that the Death Note is real.

Black Lagoon Plot:
The story follows a team of pirates/mercenaries known as Lagoon Company, who smuggle goods in and around the seas of Southeast Asia in the 1990s. Their base of operations is located in the fictional city of Roanapur in Thailand, and they transport goods in the PT boat Black Lagoon. When on land, they move around and conduct business using Benny’s 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T. Lagoon Company does business with various clients, but has a particularly friendly relationship with the Russian crime syndicate Hotel Moscow. The team takes on a variety of missions—which may involve violent firefights, hand-to-hand combat, and nautical battles—in various Southeast Asian locations and when not doing much, the members of the Lagoon Company spend much of their down time at The Yellow Flag, a bar in Roanapur.Pictures:
